I found the hotel to be a decent spot near Yosemite, with clean rooms and a friendly atmosphere. The dining was good but not ideal for late arrivals, and the lack of included Wi-Fi was a bit disappointing. Overall, it was a reasonable place to stay if you're visiting the park, but the service could use improvement.

Rooms

The rooms were nice and clean, but the furniture and fixtures felt a bit dated. The air conditioning didn't cool the room down quite as much as expected, which was a bit uncomfortable.
Service
6.0
I did appreciate the cheerful staff and the good communication, especially during the government shutdown scare. However, the front desk staff could have been more attentive and informative.

Being close to the west gate of Yosemite National Park was a major plus for us, making it convenient to explore the area.
Dining

The restaurant had a family-friendly vibe and served good meals, but it closed quite early, which was unfortunate for late returns from the park.

The hotel had nice facilities including a swimming pool and a store for supplies, which was very convenient for our hiking needs.

We had a fantastic time at Yosemite Cedar Lodge! The room we stayed in was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for meal prep with its well-equipped kitchen. While the air conditioning could use some improvement, the overall experience was delightful. The location is ideal for accessing Yosemite National Park, but be prepared for some dated areas in the lobby. Overall, a great stay that we would absolutely repeat!

The hotel has a fantastic location, very close to Yosemite, and the views are beautiful right from the rooms. However, I was disappointed with the lack of amenities included in the price, and the dining options are quite limited. Additionally, the upkeep of the facilities left something to be desired, which was a letdown considering the nightly rate.

Rooms
7.0
The room I stayed in was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds, but the carpet looked older and could use an update.
Service
6.0
While my request for a quiet room was accommodated, the manager's attitude when I raised my concerns about the room was not very welcoming.

The position of the hotel is perfect for accessing Yosemite early, making it convenient for park visits.
Dining

Breakfast was not included in the price, and at $18 it felt overpriced for what was offered. It’s better to drive to nearby Mariposa for better dining options.
Facilities

The pool area was nice but very crowded, and the hot tub wasn’t working. Additional maintenance is needed for a better experience.

Our stay was enjoyable and offered great value given its proximity to Yosemite. The cleanliness and prompt service were definite highlights. However, I was a bit disappointed by the lack of free Wi-Fi and limited TV channels. Overall, it’s a solid choice for those looking to explore the park without spending a fortune on lodging.

Cedar Lodge offers a great location near Yosemite with a beautiful river and small beach across the street. While my room was comfortable and clean, the front desk service left much to be desired, as the staff seemed unfriendly at times. The pool area also needs some work, but the bar staff, especially Micheal, made for a memorable dining experience. Overall, it's a decent place with good value for money, just don’t expect stellar service.

The lodge is located along a beautiful river and is close enough to Yosemite Park for easy access.
Dining

The dining experience was quite enjoyable, especially thanks to Micheal, who was knowledgeable and entertaining, even if the food prices were on the higher side.
Facilities

The indoor pool was quite loud due to renovations and the water was cloudy, which was off-putting.
